Introduction

Dziga Vertov was a famous Soviet pioneer doumentary film and newsreel director. He was also cinema theorist who influenced the cinema vertie style of doumnentary movie-making and the Dziga Vertov Group. Cinema vertie combines improvisation with the use of the camera to unveil truth or higlight subjects hidden behind crude reality. ( Erik, 2009 )

Visual analyse
"Man with a Movie Camera" is showing daily life in Soviet which reveals how do people live and work with machines. The manifesto of Man with a Movie camera is was Vertov response to critics who rejected his previous film. This film represents an experimentation in the cinematic communic-
ation, without intertitles, without the help of scenario and theatre(Wikipedia, 2020).Dziga Vertov used a series of fragments that build a whole film. The camera recorded the movment of object from different visual angle.I took three screenshot images to analyse this film.In first image , we got visual angle from a running horse’s mouth. The camera shooting approach is used by close-up technique. In second image, the camera captured chaotic movement of trains from look-upvision.It used contextual shooting technique to record the movement. In third image, the camera recorded one movement after another in the most complex combinations from eye-bird vision. It was used by close-up shooting technique for capturing the detail movement literally.

My video
"Man with a movie Camera" used a series of fragments that build a whole video. Therefore, I used the same technique which made my own video. My video was completed by four fragments from my daily life.In first fragment of my video, I used close-up shot from bird-eye vision to record the movement of my hand which showed how I work with computer. I recorded short film which is used by contextual shot in my first person vision in second fragment. In third fragment, I captured the movement of bicycle riding in first person vision. In final fragment, I recorded the movement of parkour from my friends in look-up vision. Parkour is a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Parkour is an activity that can be practiced alone or with others and is usually carried out in urban spaces, though it can be done anywhere.Parkour involves seeing one's environment in a new way, and imagining the potential for navigating it by movement around, across, through, over and under its features(Wikipedia , 2020).My camera followed the movement of person which was used the same to technique in " Man with a movie camera". This fragment portrayed parkour performance is a excite activity which challenged people to stimulate potential by complex movement. The manifesto of my video is presenting my daily life in CHINA after pandemic which spread a wish and hope about peace and love without pain in every country.
Reflection
In this assignment, I chose "Man with a movie camera" as my example to create my video. This
short film was made by a series of fragments. Therefore, my video should be used the same way to create. When I was creating my video, it is difficult to find to visual angle to record. Impressive
visual angle will give strong visual impact to audiences.I decided to take eye-bird vision, first person vision. Among three visual angles, look-up vision brought challenge to me through I was recording movement. The visual impact and division between person and camera should be deeply considered because these factors are necessary to present visual shock. Finally, I have successfully completed my video which is kind of small triumph for myself.
I have developed my photography and recording skills in this assignment which was unforgettable memory in my life.I learned how to use my camera to record video which have strong visual impact to audiences. In the future, I will try other visions to create video with professional devices.
